Pope’s Call to Prayer

Pope Francis at yesterday's Angelus called for all of us to recite together the Our Father on Wednesday, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, at 11.00 a.m. (midday in Rome).

He also announced that he will hold a period of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in St Peter's Square from 5.00 p.m. on Friday concluding with Benediction Urbi et Orbi through the media, to which will be attached the possibility of a plenary indulgence.

The Pope's message can be found at http://press.vatican.va/content/salastampa/en/bollettino/pubblico/2020/03/22/200322a.html

Last week the Apostolic Penitentiary issued information about the possibility of obtaining a plenary indulgence at this time of the Covid-19 crisis. This can be found at https://press.vatican.va/content/salastampa/en/bollettino/pubblico/2020/03/20/200320c.html
