If you would like to help with flower arranging, be involved with the music or assist with cleaning at Sacred Heart we would love to hear from you.

It does not need to be a weekly commitment …

just when you have time.

Please contact Janet for more details on 07765620886 (preferably in the evening)

Thank you

Please remember that it is extremely important to let your parish priest know if you know you are to be admitted into hospital as he is not currently provided with a list.

You may also like to ask him for the Sacrament of the Sick to prepare you for whatever procedure you are to undergo.

Remember ….

if you do not let your parish priest know you are an inpatient, he will not know you would like a visit.

Responding to the Call

Vocation Discernment Group

To support those exploring Vocations to the Priesthood in our diocese, a monthly Day of Recollection has been organised for the first Saturday of each month. These days will help men who feel called to ordained ministry to discover more about diocesan priesthood and meet others discerning a call to priesthood.

There will be an opportunity to talk with and hear from priests who minister in the diocese, and also a time for prayer and discussion.

For further information, please contact Fr James Preston, Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Liverpool, at or telephone:  0151 727 2493. Regular updates will be posted on our Facebook page: Archdiocese of Liverpool Vocations

 Journey in Faith

Do you wish to become a Catholic?

Do you know someone who does?

If the answer is yes, to either of these questions please speak to one of the priests or deacons.

Have you ever thought about being a Foundation Governor in a Catholic school?

Within the Archdiocese of Liverpool, there is a need for over 1600 practising Catholics to support the leadership of all our Catholic schools. At any one time, there are approximately 100 vacancies, some of which can be hard to fill.

If you are interested in learning more about how to serve the Church in this way visit
